I love Architectural Digest magazine! Did you all happen to see Rob Lowe’s house this month (he was on the cover!)? Here are the pictures over at Porchlight Interiors- – obviously he and his wife are very into symmetry! But I would say it’s one perfect house. WOW.Speaking of magazines, I get so many and I think they make a perfect gift. What are your favorite magazines?

As for magazines – I loved getting Vanity Fair. I thought that the articles & the photography were always really good. The huge Hollywood issue is always fun too!
Ditto Vanity Fair. A recent issue (w/ Lindsay Lohan on the cover) had so many interesting articles… I read every page. Others I’ve gotten over the years – Food & Wine, the sadly departed Gourmet, Sunset, and Saveur (more for reading/research than practical recipes). If you are feeling especially generous, the British mag Food & Travel or Australian Donna Hay are beautiful magazines (and ones that most wouldn’t buy for themselves). We got Paste for a while. Good gift for someone into music/film. Each issue comes w/ a CD of new music. Chad subscribes to Wired and Rock & Ice.
