Legos. Legos. Oh, and more legos. That’s all my soon-to-be 8 year old wants these days. His birthday is on Wednesday and having his birthday so close to Christmas can be challenging in the gift department. We just had his party yesterday and thank goodness for other parent’s ideas- because he received some great gifts that I had not known were out there. Hopefully this list can give you some ideas if you need them too!
Air Hogs Bell 222 - A helicopter is an awesome gift! (and maybe not just for 8 years olds either!)
Spy Gear- Wrist Watch Walkie Talkies- my boys were upstairs, downstairs and all over communicating on these last night! My husband kept telling me “They have long range! Up to 2 miles!”(it must be a guy thing)
Harry Potter Lego Hogwarts Game- my son already set this up before school this morning. Looks really fun and drumroll… a perfect mix of legos and strategy!
That’s all so far- so many other new toys to play with this week. Thank you to all his friends who gave him such wonderful things!

If you are going to get a helicopter for the older boys in your life, make it a Syma s107G. You can get ‘em for just shy of $27 on Amazon and in two days if you are “prime”, which you should be by now people!
