make it!

September 21, 2009

chocolateMy friend Jill sent me this Chocolate Cake recipe a month ago and my friend Allison made it for my birthday.  It was INCREDIBLE.  As it’s now Allison’s birthday, I am returning the favor (and an extra 3 pounds!) This cake is soooooo moist, and anytime you add chocolate chips to cake mix, it has to be good.  Let me know if you make it!

Amazing Chocolate Cake Recipe
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box chocolate fudge pudding
1 package chocolate chips
3 eggs
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup oil
8 oz sour cream
beat in large bowl (except chips)
once blended, fold in chips
spray pan/pour in pan (bundt pan, small pans or regular cake pan)
bake 50-55 min.  (however, my oven cooked it really fast, so adjust as needed) at 350
let cool 30 mins
remove from pan
top with frosting

    I’m so all over this. Chocolate cake is my weakness. One of many actually. Thanks for the recipe. I’ll make it and bring some to my sister!

    For the record, just received my cake from Suz, and applied it directly to my thighs via my mouth. It is sooooo moist, and I especially love it because it’s chunky from the choc chips! Delicious!
