My friend Andrea (and cousin!) sent me this simple appetizer recipe. Makes me want tapas!

Queso de cabra

Tomato sauce/marinara (homemade or favorite jarred)

Log of goat cheese

French bread

Pour tomato sauce into smallish oven-proof bowl.  Form goat cheese into disk and place into the middle of the tomato sauce.  Bake (350-400 degree oven) until hot.  Meanwhile, slice bread.  Serve with bread.  If you have the time and inclination, rub each slice of bread with a cut clove of garlic and brush lightly with olive oil.  Place sliced bread into the oven for 5 minutes.

    So glad to have this recipe! This is one of my favorites and is the first thing I order when we go out for tapas! Tapas are for sharing, but I wish this weren’t the case with this dish!
