a sad truth

Last weekend my husband and I went white water rafting with 2 other couples. It was such an amazing day and we were excited to be on high water.  We were told to wear our bathing suits and they would supply the wetsuits and booties, etc.  As we are getting ready, I sadly realized that I have no bathing suit bottoms that don’t have a skirt ATTACHED.  How did it come to this? When did I become such a Lands End bathing suit loyalist that I forgot that I should own a regular suit??  Can you imagine me pulling on a wetsuit and then having a skirt stuck around the middle? This takeaway spurred on a late night bathing suit online shopping spree and I am anxiously awaiting new suits to bring me into the 21st century!  Will let you know if  have success!
