soaking it up

June 10, 2010

Living in Colorado keeps my skin really dry.  I am hoping you all have some body cream suggestions for me as we are low on all ours and I am planning on hitting Target soon for more. I love the Origins Gloomaway cream, but I can’t maintain the cost of it on a daily basis!!  So, please don’t be shy and leave a comment for me!  Thanks.

I LOVE The Body Shop’s body butters…in particular Coconut and Mango…but I’ve recently discovered that Hawaiian Tropic has a cream just as awesome for half the price….
Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter -Exotic coconut.

I love the bath and body works body creams. Their lotions are not emollient enough for me, but the creams do the trick. I look for their sales-especially the 75% off sale they have once or twice a year and stock up!

I just found at Target that Aveno has a daily body moisturizer wth 15spf! I don’t like lotions with smells- so this works well for me….plus I love that it has spf!!

When I moved back to Colorado, I asked my friend who is a derm PA what she recommended, and she steered to me to CeraVe. I love that it feels light and absorbs quickly, but does the trick, even in the winter! I use it all over–even my face, and really like it. No scent, which is what I prefer. Also, in the summer, I use Lubriderm daily moisture with SPF 15 for my arms and legs.
