back to packing lunches
August 16, 2010
My nephew just picked out this SkipHop zebra lunchbox for preschool and last year I blogged about goodbyn boxes. However, once I actually saw a goodbyn, it looked enormous!! So, this year my preschooler is using the Garnet Hill Lunch Pack– we have a bugs pattern from last year and it’s great. And my kindergartner is taking along his camo pack which was a birthday gift from a friend. Love those practical gifts by the way! If you have any good links for other packs, please leave a comment. I know these are on the young side, so if you have suggestions for older kids, feel free to add them.

The SkipHop bags are so cute!! Is it wrong that I’m eyeing them for my three-month-old for two years from now? 🙂
We’ve used the same system for the past two years and will use it again this year–it’s held up really well, too well to have an excuse to get a new one yet.
We use a Laptop Lunch container (phthalate and BPA free; US made) http://secure.laptoplunches.com/AMAZING/items.asp?Cc=OUTER%5F2%2E0&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc= with containers http://secure.laptoplunches.com/AMAZING/items.asp?Cc=INNER%5F2%2E0&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc= inside a Crocodile Creek bag http://www.amazon.com/Crocodile-Creek-Wild-Animals-Lunchbox/dp/B000K4TRR8 .
Laptop Lunch also has cute lunch ideas for filling their Bento boxes (although not all of these meals would fly with my son): http://www.laptoplunches.com/ideas.html
