steak and fennel sandwiches

October 5, 2010

My friend Kim made delicious steak sandwiches the other night!! I have never cooked with fennel but it was really tasty and smelled great.  Kim did not make the homemade mayo, but rather just used her own mayo and no complaints from the table!  Here is the recipe for Steak and Fennel Sandwiches from Cooking Light magazine.  She also made a chopped salad that included: lettuce, avocado, cucumber, corn, bacon, grape tomat0es and green beans. Suggested dressing would be a ranch or blue cheese.

Now I’m hungry.

I always have to make sure the bread is not too thick-otherwise I get too full and can’t enjoy all the yummy flavors in the sandwich–
