I am on such a roll with great books- thank you for all the suggestions. About 3 chapters away from finishing The Paris Wife – have liked it so much. This book reminded me a little bit of Loving Frank which was another very interesting read. Please keep your book suggestions coming!

Just finished “The Mermaid Chair” by Sue Monk Kidd. Also just saw “Water for Elephants” which reminded me why I liked the book so much. Also just read “Left Neglected,” moving and funny (by the author of “Still Alice”). Currently reading “River of Doubt” for bookclub about Theodore Roosevelt’s journey down the Amazon–very interesting!!
I just finished “Blood, Bones, and Butter” by the chef of NYC’s Prune, who also has an MFA and is a fantastic writer. Great, great chef memoir. So far “The Kitchen House” is reallllly good too.
