4th of july bike parade

Last year we celebrated the 4th of July with a bunch of friends in the mountains. With 6 families, that amounted to lots of young kids! We decided it would be fun to have the kids all decorate their bikes and we would have our own “parade” on our driveway. The kids also had candy to throw at the adults which was a total hit. When our kids talk about the trip last year, they talk about that parade more than the big parade we watched on the main street of town!  Martha Stewart is featuring super cute clip art for the 4th for decorating bikes.- of course, our decorations were nothing like this, but it can help get you started!
