I started reading The Perfume Collector by Kathleen Tessaro and am halfway through. I think it’s a great read- and I like the parts about life being so tied to all of our senses.
Speaking of scent, I placed an Everyone Hand Soap in our downstairs bathroom and had to laugh as everyone walks out commenting on how great it smells! It’s spearmint + lemongrass that I bought at Whole Foods. I guess it’s that good.
Our local amazing shoe boutique- Solemates– sells Stance socks. I LOVE them! Very comfy with padded heel and cool designs. They also sell boot height.
Is it ironic that I watch cooking shows while I exercise on our treadmill? I recently watched Giada make this Asian Chicken Salad and was inspired to share it with a friend and her mother today over lunch. We all liked it so much and it couldn’t have been easier to make!
While I was at my friend’s for lunch, her mother wore Clic readers, and they are incredible! What a cool idea. She had a red pair (she always is fashionable) and looked so smart in them! What a great gift for our parents, or myself in 5 years… I mean, if they are good enough for Helen Mirren who still rocks a bikini, they are good enough for me! (see pic)
My two year old is fascinated with everything pink. I bought her these Sauconys and she is loving them, plus collecting compliments everywhere.
Finally, I loved hearing from so many of you about my friendship post. How lucky are we to have so many wonderful friends, both old and new? The two days after this post, I had great talks with friends on the east coast and emails from others catching up. You guys are the best!
