march madness
No, not basketball. I mean all the craziness of March!
Here’s what I’ve been enjoying-
Cowboy Caviar– this recipe is soooo easy and so delicious. We fill our tacos with it too! It doesn’t have to just be an appetizer but nice to make as I usually have the ingredients on hand.
I always like Pioneer Woman recipes- now it seems she has categorized something called “16 minute meals” (I guess 30 was too long for some!). I saw her make Beef with Peppers the other day and they looked fast and delicious. It’s on my list.
We are already shopping for summer swimwear- picked up these cool trunks for our six year old- Quiksilver Magic Palm Boardshorts.
We have rolled up our front entry carpet so our boys can roll around the house over and over this winter. They both have RipStiks and they are very fun! We think it’s a better environment for them to learn skateboarding inside where they can grab onto something first and it hasn’t scratched our hardwoods. (but the baseboards have definitely taken a hit) It’s quite a sight when I am cooking in the kitchen to have two boys ride by on these and our daughter on her pink scooter.
My friend Allison sent me these pictures of a mother and her daughter doing yoga poses together- so sweet! So many pictures to try and capture while they are so little!
As for reading, I just finished Divergent and Insurgent so that leaves me at Book 3. I am excited for the movie although I enjoyed reading The Hunger Games series more than this one.
Hope you all are having a great spring break!
Hi – I really do enjoy your posts. I love Ree Drummond too but hadn’t heard of those meals so will definitely check them out. Thanks for sharing. I was a big fan of the Divergent series too. Can’t wait to see the movie. Need to do that soon! I agree with you as well – Hungry Games was better. But it was still a good and quick read. Have a great week,Madelyn
I saw Divergent yesterday and it’s really good!!!
Love that picture!!!
